CHALLENGE
To create an urban garden of choice, then plan its maintenance throughout the year.
Since I live close by a Coned power plant, mysteriously situated on prime waterfront real estate in Dumbo, I have for years imagined a park here. A park that repurposes many structures and incorporate the large brick plant as an art museum (the Tate Modern being the source of inspiration). I chose to do a section of the Coned plant as my thesis for the Urban Garden Maintenance class (part of the Horticulture Certification program) at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.
